Exped duo 10 mat is your answer to tent camping - Exped MegaMat Duo 10 Sleeping Pad

I grew up tent camping with my family and continued on my own until I had a family of my own. I discontinued tent camping as I could find no suitable pad or mattress that would provide enough comfort to acquire a good night's sleep. Now that my wife and I are "empty-nesters", we have considered attempting to tent camp with the whole key being able to find a mattress pad that would accommodate both of us AND be comfortable enough for a good night's rest. My research led me to the EXPED Duo 10 pad and, let me tell you, this is a sure winner. They got this one right. Between the self-inflation system and simple hand pump, inflation is a snap! You have control over how much air you allow in and the resultant amount of firmness you desire. Having considered our air bed, the EXPED is significantly lower in profile, much more comfortable, and requires no electricity. The materials are excellent and carrying bag very nice. My only comment (not a complaint) is that deflation for the queen sized pad takes a bit more time, but is an extremely small price to pay for the quality and comfort you will receive from this product!
