I have 4 Synmat UL sleeping mats for myself and family members as we backcountry camp, take week long canoe adventures, in all 4 seasons including Albert's + BC mountains in Canada for the last 30 years and these light weight, durable, easy to use, comfortable reactors have made all the difference to a good night sleep, so we are ready to venture the next day. I would strongly recommend Exped's products.
Pros:
- light, comfortable, durable + easy to use

I purchased this sleeping mat for my Mount Whitney expedition during the first week of October 2016. The sleeping mat was comfortable, warm, just barely wide enough, but received four stars because, in the middle of each night it lost some air and I had to put more air into it. Not the most enduring thing one wants to do it 2 or 3 AM. Other than that, I would completely recommend this Matt.

I fell asleep on my deck the first time I laid down on this mat. I got this for cool weather camping. It is going to be perfect.

Seriously the best pad I have ever owned. Love using the schnozel bag to fill it vs blowing it by mouth. It's expensive but well worth it !

I bought this for an eleven-month missions trip, so I was looking for a light sleeping pad that wouldn't take up much room in my pack, but would still be comfortable as my bed for the next year. This is just as small and light as advertised, and quick to inflate (I used a Schnozzel Pumpbag). I couldn't quite get all of the air out when deflating, but I'm sure I will figure it out with more use. An all-around great product!

Not the lightest pad out there for this size, but the Synmat UL7 is super comfy and thick enough that my hip doesn't bottom out (I am a side sleeper). It also surprisingly came in at 17.8oz with stuff sack.

Mat and pump are super good. Fast and light. Added benefit of not ever introducing moisture or bacteria into pad. Pad is best if slightly under inflated. Best-ever pricing from Campsaver.

I was delighted to get this mat for 30 percent less than anywhere else. It came with a free gift as well, an inflatable pillow. These mats are excellent, my wife has had one for the last year so when I decided to go UL I had to get one.

I owned this sleeping pad and loved it until a high winds sent my tent, pad included, into a cholla! I tried everything to patch that pad but nothing worked and EXPED has no support on their website, probably because everything is made in China. When I went to buy another one I thought I'd do some comparisons to see what else was out on the market and I found that while I had been snoozing on a mountain somewhere on my Synmat someone had been developing an even better pad; same weight, higher R value, and way easier to inflate. I always used the pillow pump to inflate my Synmat.. don't need that anymore. This isn't a bad pad, even better if you can get a super discount but there's a better one... you just need to look.

Had a flat on the very on the very first night. Patched it later that day , and was flat again that night. Slept on the ground for the next 4 nights. Light weight doesn't matter if it wont hold air.
