Poor customer service for delamination issue - Exped Torrent 30 Pack

I have really enjoyed this pack, the design is almost perfect for all my needs and has almost retired my rope bag for climbing, my shopping pack on market days, my day-pack for hikes, my computer bag when I'm out in rainy countries doing research, and my carry-on personal item for flights. I like the daisy chains for clipping climbing shoes on etc, and the top strap holds a 70 meter rope or cinches down a water bottle almost perfectly.

However, the quality and definitely the customer service has been questionable, at least in Canada.

The bag developed a de-lamination problem after a year or so of use (see picture attached).

I have contacted Exped's dealer in Canada — In-Sport Fashions Inc. phone 800.465.9637 | info@insport.ca. — 3 times with no response at all.

I finally made contact with the Exped company representative, Hubi. After inquiring about the potential to repair (or to even purchase the item again) over email. After sending the photo and part number of the pack, he has never followed up after a number of efforts.

So a word of warning, there is no company located in Canada to even buy the bag or ask about repairs or warranty issues it seems. Hope other customer experiences have been better.
