I bought these socks for there ability to wick away moisture. They did that excellently. During a recent hike in the high uintas, I walked through creeks wearing these socks and a pair of running shoes and my feet were dry within an hour.
I do not like the way these socks fit. They are loose around the toes and tight around the middle of my feet. The part of the sock designed for the heel of the foot went well beyond my heels, and I have a size 12.5 foot.
