Great boot! - Farm To Feet Jamestown Midweight Crew - Mens

These boots are very comfortable right out of the box. I just returned from 4 days of hiking in Idaho's rugged mountains. I put some serious miles on these boots, and they did it all: jagged rocks, shell rock, long, steep inclines/declines, side hilling, and flats.

Cons: insoles could be bettter (thin with little cushion). when laced tightly, I felt pressure from one lace hook on the inside, right boot. The leather in the ankle at this point didn't seem stiff enough. Don't know if this was something I was doing, or a flaw in the boot. (This was only a problem in a particularly steep, rugged, area I was side hilling. I wanted them extra tight.)
