These are great anchors for arid climate such as southwest (including CO, NM, AZ, UT) where the moisture is not so much of an issue for the long term effect. Make sure to use regular steel bolts with these to avoid galvanic corrosion. With these I use 1/2" Rawl Powers (aka 5-piece) bolts and it's perfect as the Rawl's 1/2" is actually 3/8" inside.
