Great pants overall - Fjallraven Keb Gaiter Trousers - Mens-Tarmac-Clearance-Regular Inseam-42 Waist, 235143

These are very well made pants with features that are just not available from other brands of hiking pants. Are the features worth 2x the cost of other brands? I dont know. While the integrated gator hook is nice they dont work as well as if you use conventional gators. But it does cut down on the OZ a little if you know you dont have to do alot of snow and does a good job of keeping ankle scraping branches from making it through. The flexible non g1000 parts are thinner than i was expecting, but it helps keep the pants cool. I dont know how the flexible stuff will hold up long term.
