I got this jacket as a spring jacket for ski touring for wind, snow and rain and just around town. I have only had this jacket a few days but got it when it was raining. Great jacket. Totally waterproof. Plenty of room for layering as I got the large. I am normally a 43 regular and it fits perfectly and provides plenty of room for movement. having the powder skirt is also a good addition. The only addition I can think would have been great is big mesh pockets inside for the variety of stuff that you tend to want to just dump in a big inside mesh pocket.
