Nice shorts for biking + casual wear - FlyLow MacReady Short - Men's

I get annoyed by the lack of options for mountain biking shorts with a shorter inseam; 12 - 13 inches just feels way too long to me. I'm 5'10", so not super tall, but I'm not short either. My personal comfort zone is 9-10 inches, so the MacReady shorts seemed like a great choice. The fit was good, the material was comfortable and semi-stretchy, but rugged enough that they would probably hold up under rougher mtb conditions. The overall aesthetic is not super-sporty or, but I appreciate that you could wear these in casual, everyday situations as well. I will say that the 9.5" inseam felt more like 10" whereas I wished it wore more like a 9".
Having said all that, I ended up returning these ... but only because I also purchased the FlyLow Hot Tub shorts which I liked better. Still, I would have been perfectly happy with the MacReady shorts if they were my only option.
Pros:
Comfortable, durable, looks good for both mtb and casual
Cons:
Inseam is listed at 9.5" but wears more like 10 - 10.5"
Best Used for:
Biking, hiking, casual wear
Would Recommend:
