Hoping these work for backpacking - Forsake Patch Mid Boots - Women's

I received these boots a week ago and have been wearing them on light one mile walks every day to make sure I didn’t get blisters for an upcoming backpacking trip. Initially they were a little tight on my arch but after a few days I find them to be very soft and don’t require a ton of breaking in. They don’t have the stiff feel or high ankle support of a heavy hiking boot, but the tennis shoe comfort combined with the good grip makes me willing to take the risk with a 35 lb pack next week on Yosemite granite. Bonus, they are super stylish for a hiking boot and I will get a lot of use out of these year round so am very happy with the purchase.
