A stuff sack works for stuffing insulation, but what about a collection of items. Toothpaste, clippers, dental floss,comb, ect.in a bag. Then the stuff sack doesn't work. These zip bags work! Very handy, you can get at all items without removing anything. Volume seems a little lower than stated but that helps my need. The short seams are at the ends only. Not water tight but close.
