Reviews & Ratings for Gregory Boone Overnight 40 L Pack

Gregory packs are well made and I'm sold on the comfort you get with their wide shoulder strap spacing around your neck; this is my fourth Gregory pack so I knew the quality would be there. At 40L volume, you'll pack only what you need for a weekend and shouldn't overload yourself; if you crossed a 25L daypack with a 55L backpack, this would be what the offspring would look like in size and features. This pack dispenses with the typical load bearing hipbelt, which gives you more freedom of movement; there is a strap belt with this, but it's removable and mine is now stored in one of the convience pockets. The access points for gear are everywhere on this pack; top, bottom, front, back. You don't have to unload much to get to anything. There's a built in water bottle pocket on the side, as well as compresson straps on the bottom, back and the side opposite the water bottle pocket. This should suit the needs of typical weekend trail hikers.
Pros:
size and efficiency
Cons:
None
Best Used for:
Weekend or short hikes
Would recommend: Yes
