Another great gregory pack! - Gregory Jade 38L Daypack - Women's

This our third gregory pack in the family and like the others I am very pleased with how comfortable it is!
I was looking for a size that would fit all the extras needed for a long day of backcountry skiing, but that would be smaller than my 60L pack. I am happy with the 38L size. Unfortunately, this pack is lacking in ways to strap down snowshoes or skis. But with a little creativity I hope to rig up something for snowshoes. The U-shaped zipper entry is quite handy to access stuff at the bottom of the pack. I appreciate the extra little strap to hold up the hydration system.
I wish the top stuff pocket and side pockets were not made out of stretchy material. Time will tell how well they'll hold up. In general, I can't say anything about durability yet, since I used the pack only twice so far.
Finally: I fell in love with the purple color...!
