To be honest, I haven't tried the backpack on a backpacking trip (coming soon). I received the backpack and I immediately love it! You can adjust the size of the back and the stripes. The backpack is quite light and doesn't take much space. Perfect size for 3-4 nights backpacking (also less, of course)
I have tried at home with some weight and it fits really well, comfortable and it's coming with a rain cover. (I also love the color).
I got the S-M size, I'm 1.63 cm.
