Outstanding backpack in almost all categories - Gregory Paragon 48 Backpack - Men's

This is my 6th pack in the 45-48L range. This pack met all my requirements for a lighter pack in this volume/weight range. I think I'm going to keep this one til it falls apart. My other packs were good, but not good enough for me to keep.

Details:
1) Adjustable torso makes this pack very delightful and I really like how the pack is as close to the back as possible, while keeping it very breathable
2) There are NO pinch or hard points to the body and this is very important for comfort
3) The hipbelt is well thought out with very usable pockets
4) I use ultralight dry bags (I think I have 12 UL dry bags to choose from) but the added rain cover is a plus and the way it covers the pack water hasn't pooled along the bottom of the raincover
5) I love the bottom access. I would prefer side access, but this weight/L ratio with any access is a winner for me. My other pack is the awesome Gossemer 60L for the long haul that weighs under 2lbs but doesn't have side or bottom access, which is annoying at times

I think this is the pack I've been waiting for. Only way I'll upgrade is if Gregory installed a side zippered access.

Finally, ONLY ONE very poor picky criticism: no loops under the pack for my thermarest Z pad. however...there are two adjustable straps that my Zpad will fit in easily. What am I going to do with the extra UL straps I paid good money for, now?
