Big payloads, big comfort
I lead an annual 7 day trip with one assistant and 6 13 or 14 year old campers. We cover rugged terrain in upstate New York's High Peaks region. My assistant and I compensate for slender-hipped lightweight campers with low carrying capacities by hauling heavy packs. I've used a borrowed Whitney 95 for the previous four years and my own this year.

The pack is very nice; I’m going to really enjoy it. I’m looking forward to hitting the trail this summer with this well designed pack. Thank you CAMPSAVER for the amazing price:)

Carry the Kitchen Sink
This is a great pack for longer multi day treks or "leisure campers" who have a laundry list of essentials. The clip off top makes a great day sling/hip pack for quick treks away from basecamp when you don't want to lug the whole bag. Some have reported issues with the waist strap plastic being a breaking point, they are densely molded plastic and I could see this being an issue getting tossed around or dropped on the straps. I always store mine upright without strain on them and have no issues so far, but would be a little weary checking this at the airport.

Fantastic pack.
I used this on a week long backwoods trip. The pack performed flawlessly. The many zippers and pockets made organizing simple, and I didn't have to unpack the entire tube if I needed something on the bottom of the pack.
