Poor workmanship - GSI Java Press - Clearance

I purchased this item a few weeks ago. I unpacked it and washed it for the first time. Afterwards, I tested it by making some coffee. First, the plunger screen did not filter all the coffee grounds so I ended up with a fair amount of coffee grounds in my cup. Second, the handle broke off when I washed and dried the darn thing. If the handle broke that easily, this thing is not worth keeping.
