Adriano Lince's Review of Heimplanet Nias Tent - 6 Person, 3 Season
I recently bought this tent through campsaver. I already have the cave tent from heimplanet and I really like their products for a few reasons. 1. Light and packs small I will attach photos 2. After the initial setup of the tent which is the only drawback I see from the brand because the instructions manual is not very precise and lacks detail; setting up your tent takes 5 minutes or less 3. Super stable on strong winds 4. Multi air chambers with valves allow to still use your tent even if one of the sections gets punctured 5. Good overall ventilation if needed by opening the small windows specially made for this purpose(mine is a 3 season tent). 6. It has several pockets in different sizes inside to organize your camping gear as well as a small hook on the roof to hang a small light if needed 7. Waterproof (I have tested this tents during rainy season and not a drop gets in. Take into account the length of this tent when buying it. It is long and this might be a drawback for some. First time setup that involves attaching the tent to the geodesic frame could be easier if heimplanet included a more detailed instructions manual and/or how to videos on their website. Finally, are these tents worth the pricetag? Well IMO if you want to buy one of the best designed tents on the market made to withstand very strong gusts of wind and the convenience of assembling it in minutes yes it is worth it. Of course there a cheaper inflatable tents available for the occasional camper.
Pros:
Looks awesome
Ease of assembly
Overall quality and design
Cons:
Price
Poor Instructions for first assembly
Would Recommend:
Yes
