Great tent, initial set up sucks - Heimplanet The Cave Tent - 3 Person, 3 Season

Like I said, this is a great tent. I love the almost immediate pitching when on site, there's A LOT of pocket storage inside and a removable loft for the ceiling for more storage. The only down side is the initial assembly of the tent. The directions are so horribly written that after an hour of consternation and getting nowhere, I abandoned the book and proceeded with my own version of assembly. 2 hrs later, I was ready to go! So far I've camped in good weather only, so I haven't been able to test this tent out in rain or high wind. It also needs to be said that the pump is a separate purchase. Some reviews I read said the pump came with, I learned that it does not. All in all, I love the cave and the pleasure of using it now far outweighs the agony of the first impression out of the box with assembly. Maybe I'm just really dense when it comes to reading directions??
