Wink's Review of Hilleberg Akto 1 Tent - 1 Person, 4 Season
This high-end solo tent is strong yet extremely light weight. It can handle strong winds just fine but I have not experienced snow loads as yet. I am somewhat concerned about that due to the flat fabric on each end. It’s easy to set up. The inner tent is attached to the outer. They can be separated, however, giving some flexibility to it’s use. The shell can be used alone and so can the inner tent. But from a practical perspective, I can see removing the inner tent when I wake up to foul weather, putting it in my pack while it is still dry, then pulling stakes on the fly and packing it separately. I’m 6 feet tall and can just sit up in the doorway which is great for pulling on my boots or cooking in the ample vestibule. In an emergency, two could cram in for protection from the elements.
