erika's Review of Hilleberg Helags Tent - 2 Person
This is an amazingly well built tent. After buying several other tents (Alps Mountaineering, mountain Hardware, Eureka) it was such a pleasure to have a tent that will be my forever tent! I got the 2 person and its huge. Love the two vestibules on either end. I used one and my partner used the other one to keep our climbing gear and shoes out of the weather and out of the tent. We were climbing in the Cirque of the Towers in the Wind Rivers in September and was thankful to have such an awesome tent to wait out the weather. It's pricey, but very well worth it. Zippers are all well sealed, and zipper pulls are big metal loops not cheap plastic. Love that the tent fly and inner tent are easy to keep attached for setting up the tent in miserable conditions.
Pros:
Easy to assemble
Roomy and well made
High quality , simple design very reliable.
quite in the wind
Cons:
not the lightest at 4.6 lbs
Best Used for:
Mountain climbing Walking Travel camping
Backpacing
