Larry's Review of Hilleberg Niak Tent - 2 Person 3 Season
My second Hilleberg and I’m just as happy with this one. Easy to set up, handles any camping weather and will last many years with reasonable care. The Niak is a roomy one person tent and perfect for most times of year as long as it’s not too hot. Anything below 75 degrees and above 10 to 15 degrees will be ok with the correct sleeping bag. Snow could be a problem if too heavy but other tents are designed for that. I’m 6 feet tall and plenty of room for me and my gear in the tent. Vestibule is ok but stuff will get wet there in side driving rain. Plenty of head room to sit up and lounge comfortably during bad weather. Put up a small tarp as an awning over vestibule and it’s a home away from home. Yup, they’re expensive, but you have to have your priorities and mine is a safe harbor while camping in any weather. Save some money and buy the correct Hilleberg for your needs. You’ll never regret it !!!
