Great running shoe for the winter (gore-tex model) - Hoka Challenger ATR 6 GTX Trail Running Shoes - Men's

If you are familiar with the Challenger ATR 5, the new iteration (ATR 6) brings back much of the old with a few important changes. For me, the ATR 5 was a bit wide in the forefoot and led to a bit of sloppiness once the trails got technical. The new ATR 6 comes with the new Hoka lacing system that wraps around, and locks down the foot much better. The forefoot is also more narrow than the ATR 5, so if the ATR 5 was a snug or tight fit for you, opt for the wide (new offering) in the ATR 6. All in all, a great shoe for runs that may involve a bit of dirt, pavement, and snow.
Pros:
Offered in wide
Offered in GORE-TEX
Cons:
None
Would Recommend:
Yes
