Awesome right out of the box! - Hoka Speedgoat 2 Running Shoes - Men's

I got these last Friday and did 8 miles in them on Saturday at the University of Tennessee Arboretum. Although the terrain is mostly gravel, these had excellent grip and I didn't have any problems with the toe box or rubbing. I'm hoping to do about 10-12 this weekend in them as well. I've been wanting these for a while. Cushion was great! I also have a lot of problems with rolling my ankles on the trail (did one ankle twice last year and the other one once) but felt really sure-footed in these shoes. I am training for a 50k this year and expect to run in these shoes. Already bought another pair since they are on sale!
