RosieMN's Review of Hoka Kaha GTX Hiking Shoes - Women's

Performance: I do mostly state park trails with stumps, boulders, inclines…nothing too serious, but I do hike at a fast pace. I sprained my ankle badly, so I really needed good angle support and they delivered. The upper support and foot bed took about 10 miles until they started to feel like part of my foot, although they where quite comfortable out of the box. They do not feel stiff, which I love. The grip and support are incredible and I feel safe on all surfaces and I feel no ankle pain! I felt my toes hit the front of the box a few times, that would be my only concern with these boots. Sizing: They do run large. I’m between an 8.5 & 9. I order the 8.5 and have plenty of room for thick socks. They would not be for a narrow foot.
