Ron's Review of Hoka Tor Summit Wp Hiking Boots & Shoes - Men's
Several years ago I was finally and accurately diagnosed with Lyme disease. After a few more years of proper treatment the infection disappeared from my blood tests, but not without leaving behind a neurological condition in my feet, commonly known as peripheral neuropathy. The symptoms are a combination of numbness, prickly stabbing, and constant aching after walking short distances. Needless to say comfortable footwear is absolutely essential to my quality of life. Having gone through many brands and styles that cost me a great deal, I was finally advised by a foot specialist to try Hokas. As soon as I slipped on a pair and stood up I knew I had found the Holy Grail for my pain. I can honestly attest to their soft foundation, their firm outer structure, and their balance. Walking in Hokas is like walking on air. Immediately I bought three pair, a walking shoe, a high top hiking boot, and these Summit WP Hiking Shoes. All of them are giving me the much needed relief, but the Summit WP is the shoe I wear the most; for easy walks, for exploring wood trails for my photography interests, and sometimes even going out for the evening. They are just so comfortable protecting my neuropathy from hard impact that I wear them with impunity even if they don't match the fashion I'm weariing for dinner parties. I love them so much I've bought these brown Summit WP Hiking Shoe as an alternative to gray Summitt WPs I already own. Also, as a birthday gift, I gave these to a nurse friend who works in a hospital, two and sometimes three shifts at a time, and herself has plantir faciaitis, a foot malady in the heel area. She can't stop raving about how comfortable they are. Hoka offers a wonderful choice for people concerned about a comfortable foundation that protects your feet from constant impact.
