Wrong shoe for me - Inov8 Roclite 295 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

First, thanks Campsaver. You guys had the lowest price and shipped quickly. You get a 5/5. Unfortunately the shoe isn't working for me.

My first hike was a quick 4 mile hike. Going up the hill was no problem; coming I noticed that the toe box is rather roomy. My forefoot had a little too much lateral movement.

I wore them a few more times trying to break them in.

Today I laced them just a bit tighter and hiked 22+mi, 7000+ft, wearing a slightly heavier sock than I used on my first run. After two hours I developed a blister on my heel, which I doctored up with athletic tape. Then a blister on the other heal. Ouch.

I've worn these shoes a lot in a short period of time so I will not feel comfortable returning them. But I will limit their use to 5K trail race type events, when I will not have them on my feet long enough to create blisters. Too bad, I wanted to like them.
