I am a southbound PCT hiker. I used an alcohol stove for the last 1,00 miles. Alcohol stoves are discouraged now in the S.
California desert because of current fire danger. This stove is a great replacement. I use it to heat water only, not cook. Campsaver had the best price and excellent quick delivery.

This review was written in the old system and had content requirements that are different than reviews written today.
