Adjust to fit my running shoes and my light mountaineering boots. I bought these to deal with ice formed on trails from quick freeze cycles with rain that makes boiler plate ice flows. Haven't had the chance to use them because I bought in the late spring but look forward to safe traveling next winter. Seem to be ruggedly built. I'll be interested to see how the snow release skins survive.
