I have used my YakTrax in the snow and ice on the road for years and been satisfied, but this winter when I started hiking up in the snowy and icy mountains I discovered that I needed something with more bite. My new MICROspikes made me feel as if there were no ice at all. They fit snugly and do not shift on my boots at all, even after many hours.

I loved my new MICROspikes so much that I am considering buying a second pair!
