Katadyn gravity camp 6l water filter - Katadyn Gravity Camp Water Filter - 6L

Excellent product for base camp water filtration. Purchased this product after learning of it from a friend and using the Katadyn Gravity Camp 6L Water Filter on a trip in the Rocky Mountains. I purchased my own to use for my yearly BWCA and Quetico trips. The unit filters water on demand and is quick. My purchase did not come with the shower head (which is sold separate). Shower attachment was pictured with the item, which made me think it was coming with the purchase, nice to know it is available. Replacement filters are pricy (almost like buying a new complete system) but the overall unit quality and speed of filtration are excellent. You can connect it to a water bladder and leave it to fill without concern. I also have the Platypus 4L and 2L filtration systems which I use frequently and trust. The 6L is ideal for filtering water for 3 - 8 people around camp site without having to do a bunch of refills. Platypus makes great overall products that last several years.
