I recently used this pack on a backpacking trip through the mountains during a big thunderstorm. I was very pleased with the performance of this pack. It has a built in rain cover which made it very easy to keep things dry. Another feature it has is every pocket is a roll top opening which eliminates zippers and areas where water can get into the pack. I also loved how light the pack was, at times it felt like I was just hiking with a day pack. The only down fall I found with this pack was the way the pack rested on my back. Had I had more weight in my pack it would have been uncomfortable. Overall this is a great pack with a wonderful price tag.
