Got the pack at $57 for long dayhikes in the rockies. I like the way the rolltop design combines the rolltop (top) compression with the side compression straps; a very natural combination that makes the pack ride great at any loading. Very good price for a general purpose hiking backpack with very few failure points. Only notable negative of the pack is the single torso size. I have a 21" torso and when the shoulder straps adjusted comfortably, the belt is inches above my hips. Not really a functional problem since a hip-belt on a day pack is more for stability than load transfer, but it is a cosmetic annoyance. Offering a larger size would be nice.
