nearly-wilderness's Review of Kelty Tallboy 4 Tent
We used it for a little over a week this fall in the mid-west. Nice little tall tent. Not 4-season however, but great for summer, late spring, early fall use. Easy to assemble, as advertised. Good quality nylon tent. As others have mentioned, the flaps over the zippers are not stiff enough to keep them from jamming the zipper when opening or closing. I just learned to use 2 hands when opening or closing--one to hold the zipper flaps away from the zipper, and the other hand to pull the zipper itself.
Pros:
- Easy to assemble
Cons:
- zipper gets stuck
Best Used for:
- any season but winter
