Mi2CaMatt's Review of Klymit LiteWater Dinghy LWD Packraf
I own two of these. They are fantastic little boats. I packrafted a good chunk of the Rogue river in Oregon in one. Have shot sections of the Salinas and King river in CA in one too. Lots of little bends and lakes as well. Super durable. Survived many encounters with the gravel river bottom. Just about two pounds. Takes about 7-10 minutes to unpack and fully inflate with the bag. I can carry two of these, two paddles, two pfds plus beers and snacks in a big ruck sack. Will really elevate your day hike game -- hike in and float or paddle out. I've done up Class II in these. The trick is to inflate the seat before the boat, and to put weight in the front. It paddles so much nicer with a good amount of weight up front. I've run 275 pounds total weight.
Wasn't planning on writing a review but the other reviewer had such a bad review I had to chime in. Doesn't even own one, and made more comments about the looks than anything else. Function over form in the backcountry. What a dingus.
