I yet have to go test on water but just by inflating and setting it up you can tell this is a solid raft. The material is very sturdy and the spray skirt deck combo is tight. The inflation with the bag is a bit tricky at first but with practice it should not be a problem. I have reached out to the company and they can answer any question regarding the product Great value at a great price
