Change in stitching on latest version - Kuhl Rebel Pants - Men's

I love these pants and just received a new pair in Espresso for the holidays. One of the things I've always liked about these is the contrast stitching which gives them a different, more rugged look than a lot of pants. Unfortunately the pair I received no longer has contrast stitching, the thread is the same color as the fabric and I've got to say that I don't like them near as much. Almost to the point of trying to decide whether to return them or not. Not one picture on Campsaver or on Kuhl's website shows the change to the stitching so I'm assuming it just happened recently, but buyer beware.
