Jonny C's Review of La Sportiva Nepal Evo GTX Mountaineering Shoes - Men's
This is a really nice boot that feels comfortably. The issue I am having is the lack of attention to detail when it comes to craftsmanship. I have Italian made boots from a few other brands that don't suffer from a lack of detail that these ones do. The red portion of the sole has a couple of spots that honeycombed more than they should of. There is one hole that is about 1.5mm in diameter and about 2mm deep. the green strip is not glued on perfectly. The last cm of it on one boot isn't even glued down to the boot. There is a small gap on a portion of it on the other boot. I expected a little bit more detention to detail on a boot like this which other brands don't seem to suffer from. It's tough to say if this will affect long term reliability yet but I'll bump my review up a star or 2 if these things end up holding up better than I think they will based on the mediocre craftsmanship.
