Went for la sportiva - La Sportiva Trango Tower GTX Mountaineering Shoes - Men's

Ive seen these shoes around for years but never tried a pair till now. I got them more for regular hiking than true mountaineering since I need all the ankle support I can get these days. These are sweet shoes! I like the way the ankle articulates forward while still giving excellent lateral stability. The quality of the boot seems top notch. The vibram sole, gore tex, high quality materials all make this boot a winner and they were comfortable for me right out of the box. Stoked!
