I've always been one to just buy bulk bags of socks from Wal-Mart, but now I see the difference between cheap socks and socks like this that are made of premium materials. The bamboo+merino wool combination immediately feels right. They haven't been frayed on anything when I wear them around the house, even when I wear them outside without shoes because I'm too lazy to slip shoes on to take out the garbage. Fit is a little snug on my toes when I don't have shoes on; kinda weird, but not an issue.
