No waterproof at all - Lowa Camino GTX Hiking Shoes - Men's

I bought these with promise of being waterproof. Waterproofing work fine for short stroll through creek, but not much beyond that. The other day I wore them for a backpackin trip and they got wet through in an out after just few steps in a morning dew. I had to stop several times and pour water out of them. So much for waterproofing and Gortex. I contacted customer service and was told that because they are more than 1 year old, I am out of luck. So long, Lowa. Never again.
