Good fit for my feet, rubber is meh. - Lowa Falco VCR Climbing Shoes - Men's

I have large, wide feet (14 E). A pair of Falco's in size 14 fits super comfy for long days or with a thin pair of socks on cold days, a pair in 13 fits snug but not painfully--I haven't found any other shoe that fits as well. The three velcro closures (vs two closures on some shoes) makes a noticeable difference, too.

The rubber on the toe is just okay, not the stickiest for smearing or friction, but if you keep the "chassis" kicking for a few resoles, that isn't really a problem, and the front edge of the stock sole is nice and stiff for edging.

The 2018 color pattern looks spiffy too--though I miss the buttons on the pull tabs that allowed you to clip the shoes together without any extra gear (on the previous model).
