The Renegade is an excellent boot that is tough enough to stand up against the elements. It has a very tough outsole and is built like a tank, so you can rest assured that your feet will be protected. Only gripe I have is that they are not the lightest boot in their class. Will probably stick to trail runners on the longer distance hikes, but if protecting your feet from the elements is the mission, you won't go wrong with these.
