Taurus Pro GTX mid hiking boots

I have worn Lowa Taurus boots for many years and many miles of trails and they are one of the most comfortable and durable hiking boots I have ever owned. The first year that I purchased this pair I was working the summer as a volunteer "Meadow Rover" at Mt.Rainer National Park 2-3 days per week walking the trails above Paradise answering questions for hikers regarding trail conditions, wildlife , taking care of minor injuries ,etc, and at the end of the summer season these boots had not only been very comfortable but also very sturdy and showed very little wear. I have a hard time finding boots that are comfortable on the trail all day, and durable enough to last years and these boots fit that definition 100%. Highly recommend.

comfortable warmer weather hiking boot

This is a nice breathable boot for hiking in warmer temperatures.

Great support and lighter weight.

I have the renegades and love them. These too fit like a glove. I wanted a mid shoe that was lighter and I could use for everyday purposes. These are half the weight of the renegade and on clearance, so I thought I would try them out. I really enjoy wearing them. I had sprang my ankle before buying them and these give great ankle support. Plan on wearing them everyday until the ankle is better.

Great boot. Not as warm as their tactical boot.

This boot fits perfectly and looks nice. However, it's not very warm. I own a pair of the Lowa Tactical Boots and they really block out the cold. In the Taurus boot, at 1 degree Fahrenheit, my feet froze. I had on boot socks as well.
