Great shoe, great price, from a great brand - Lowa Walker GTX Casual Shoes - Men's

I day hike nearly every day, maybe 350 days a year, mostly in dry desert weather, technical, rocky, and steep hikes, and have become a big fan of Lowa's line up of backpacking and day hiking shoes. This one seems is different than my others, seems to be more of a casual walking shoe, but has a nice grippy outsole, fit perfectly out of the box, is probably a capable hiker too, though I have not tried it on the trail yet. Firm midsole, typical of Lowa. Fits great, looks nice, seems well made, and seems like it would be a great all around travel shoe when you don't want to carry multiple specialized shoes. Got it on sale, so definitely a 5 star value. Lowa makes better shoes each for a single purpose, but if you want a nice all around shoe, the Walker GTX is a great choice.
