Cheap construction - Lowe Alpine Mountain Ascent ND 3848 Backpack - Women's

I purchased this pack in May 2018. The stitching that holds the drawstring for the top of the pack began to fall apart after a couple months of light use. I emailed customer service and was told that I would need to pay for shipping to the warranty department and that it would take up to 4 weeks. I do not have a second pack to use in the meantime and do not think shipping costs for a defective product should be my responsibility. Also - I reviewed the product directly on the Lowe Alpine website and my review does not appear on the US version of the site-only the UK version. Apparently they are working to resolve this.

Overall my experience with this pack and with Lowe Alpine customer service has been very poor. I expected better customer service and a higher quality pack. This will be my last Lowe Alpine purchase. I regret buying this pack and wish I could return it.
