My favorite outdoor climbing shoe - Mad Rock M5 Climbing Shoe - Mens

I've worn probably 20 pairs of climbing shoes and these are by far my favorites. They're great stiff edging shoes and incredibly comfortable. I've used them on hard boulders (>=v10) and hard routes (>=5.13) and found them to be the right shoe for the job 75% of the time. The other 25% of the time I'll either grab a pair of sensitive slippers or some aggressively downturned lace-ups, but for day to day climbing outside, they're the ones I turn to. They're a bit clunky as gym shoes, but I still often find techy outdoor-style gym problems feel a grade easier when I switch from my soft gym shoes to the M5's and can put more weight on my feet.
