Did whip, didn't die. - Mammut 10.0 Galaxy Classic Climbing Rope

Seems to work so far. This ropes taken a beating, and I haven't. It's supple and flows well through every type of belay device I've used so far (basically everything but a grigri). It's light enough for sure. I mean really if you're hauling a 70m rope (or two), food, water, bunch of gear, what's a couple ounces? A little bit of training weight if you ask me. I've had it for over a year and it's holding up great. Taken many small falls and a few hefty ones too. Sheath is in great condition and no soft spots to report. Gets twisted as much as any other rope, but proper managment can control that. The colors look great and with a little rinsing out, I'm sure it'll shine again. Go for it! A 70m x 10mm is a wonderful workhorse that you can take anywhere and trust always.
