Seems to be a well made shoe; euro size does not match expected us size - Mammut Ducan Mid GTX Backpacking Shoes - Women's

After reading reviews elsewhere, I sized up half a size (normally wear 7.5 running shoes, ordered size 8 in these Mammut's). However, when I received them, it turns out that Mammut's size 8 is actually Euro size 40. (Normally, women's 8 = Euro 39.) So as it turns out, these shoes run about a half size small based on *Euro* sizes, but about a half size big based on US Women's size.

So if you normally wear women's US size 7.5 street shoes, you should probably order these in a 7 or 7.5.
Or if you're normally a Euro size 38.5, you should order these in a ~39.
