Great for backcountry skiing, dedicated rescue pocket for probe and shovel. Fleece lined pocket for goggles. The back access zippers are nice too. The orange is a cool color too. I haven't tested the ski carry yet but the pack has multiple options so it seems easy enough to use. Only one ice axe attachment though.
